Review: Notebook Cooling Pad
Review: Notebook Cooling Pad…
I have had this cooling pad for a few weeks and have been really impressed at the effect it had and all for £4.49
Looks kinda flimsy and ok its not an amazing peice of electronic production, however its light, fits in a laptop bag and does the job!

Anonymous asked: Do you need a large drive to back up to for Time Machine, lots of people ask this on forums?
Yes you do, because Time Machine stores all files and then adds and adds to them, Its not just a copy of you current HD it will have every file that was at one point on you Mac’s HD.

Mac Book Time Machine
TopTechCrunch,
Backing up important data is essentail to the modern computer user, the mass of music, the small but important work documents, or those priceless family holdiay snaps. All which are important to you.
All Mac computers with Leopard or SnowLeopard have a program called Time Machine.

This program so far has been met with mixed reviews. Lots of people like this software because it can restore your whole machine back to a specific time. The image below shows the all the different back ups in time order.

This is the visulaisation when you enter the “Time Machine”. (Above)
So the benefits of being able to restore your machine to a specific point in time is good, however simply googling, Time Machine problems, there are quite a few. Most of them do simple get resolved by a reformat of the back up disk and also a number of them do refer to the back up disk as being the problem. Also keeping up to date with the frequent software up dates Apple provide can help you maintain a heathy system.
I back up to a Western Digital My Book 1TB and I have had no problems so far!
TopTechCrunch recommends Time Machine.
